Every year the Vermont Autism Task Force hosts the Autism Awareness Day event in April. Come and meet with other people on the spectrum plus families, legislators and state officials.
Join us at the State House cafeteria for a meet and greet followed by presentations from individuals with autism, parents, professionals, community members, and others.
We encourage visitors to the State House to contact their legislators to schedule a brief meeting during your visit. Legislators really appreciate hearing from their constituents and visitors can help educate legislators about issues that are important to people with autism and their families. Please be sure to invite your legislator to the Autism Awareness Day presentation at the cafeteria.
All Activities are free at the Vermont State House.
